We have been togather for about a year and a half, two years, somewhere around there. And have also been through four different members in the band. First we had this guitar player, now don't get me wrong, he is a great guitar player but had a slight ego ploblem, and thats not the way we work. So he had to go. But that caused a problem, we had just signed up for the Bogarts High School Band challenge and the rules were that if someone quite your band or you kicked them out you were dissqualified. So we replaced him with a keyboard player, but the problem there was that he was just learning about keys and was not ready to be in a band, so we replaced the position again. This time with another guitar player. It was great from the start he learned all the songs even helped write a few new ones. We ended up making it to the second round then came in last. So time went on and it became harder and harder to be in a band with a guitar player that was retarted, and did all the stupid shit that he did. So that was the end of that. Finally one day Matt brought this kid over Grant. He was like all hard core KORN all the way, he could play like a shit load of korn songs. But anyway that weekend we were playing at a party with Matt's dads band (Peacemaker) and we really neaded a guitar player for this song we wrote called Relic, becouse it was too hard for me to play and sing on it at the same time. So I showed him the guitar parts and he learned them in like five minutes, we were impressed. After we got done playing the song Andrew told me to follow him to the other room, when we got out there he said Grant has to be in the band. We asked Grant, he said yes and that was it. | |||||||||||||||||||
